PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY

My name is Dan Phenicie (fen-nuh-see) and with over 15 years of experience as a visual communications professional, I have grown accustomed to wearing many hats, thinking on my feet, and being fluent in a wide range of jargons. Some productions take place on a factory floor while others are in a boardroom. Sometimes it’s just me with a camera and as much gear as I can carry while other productions have required a large crew and trucks full of equipment.

I’ve made videos to market goods and services such as hair and skin care products, car seats, investment funds, software, sump pumps, and school supplies amongst many (MANY) others. Several of my videos raised money for good causes and a few even won some awards.

The entirety of my time as a visual communications professional has been spent as the co-founder and co-owner of an independent production company called Seven/Seventy-Nine. So in addition to the myriad skills involved in conceptualizing and translating ideas into compelling visual stories, I’m also well versed in running a small business. From chasing deals to chasing down overdue invoices and from the buzz of a big pitch to the grind of bookkeeping, I’ve covered it.
